Your Church Life Does Not Replace Your Devotional Life - Part 2
Fruitfulness flows out of Intimacy

In Part One, I pointed out that Jesus tells us to go to our “secret place” to pray to the Father. We all need to have a time each day where we are fellowshipping with God alone, and not with other believers (the church).
The Christian life is the quest to know God (John 17:3). The Christian walk is the journey to friendship with God. Your purpose is to know Him. You cannot know Him intimately if you don’t invest in your devotional life.
